About Me
Scholarly Biography
I am a senior lecturer in Civil Engineering at the School of Architecture, Technology and Engineering. My expertise lies in the fields of transportation and transport externalities. I published many peer-reviewed articles on topics such as transport modelling, transport impact on environment and health, transport and land-use interaction, transport and energy efficiency, fleet modelling and air quality modelling.
I have considerable industrial experience in the fields of transportation planning, modelling and engineering. I worked on research projects such as Persuasive Trip Advisor for Reducing CO2 consumption (EU FP7-ICT), Emission Inventory Compilation (EPA, Ireland), and Carbon Neutrality (EPA, Ireland). In the industry, I worked on the Transport Modelling Framework and Public Transport Framework of the National Transport Authority, Ireland, Bus Rapid Transit and Bus Network Restructuring projects of Dhaka Transport Coordination Authority, Bangladesh.
